Speed Limit The speed limit in Thailand are 120 km/hour countryside. In the city it`s 50 km/hour and some time they even have a sign. If the police stop you, just pay. To rent a car or bike If you go to the countryside, bring a map reader that speak thai. Sometimes the signs are only in thai. Check the ensuranse carefully. What does it cover? Remember if something happens you are to blaim. If you have done nothing wrong, they still got no money to pay for your damage. Driver lisence In many countries you get your lisence for the rest of your life. In Thailand you get one year the first time. Later you can get 5 years. Driving here you better have a international lisence on top of your lisence from home. If you stay more than 3 months, you most have a Thai driver license.                                                                                                                Yearly tax           There are a lot to see. Every year you have to pay yor tax at the same place you got your Thai driver lisence.
