Speed Limit The speed limit in Thailand are 120 km/hour countryside. In the city it`s 50 km/hour and some time they even have a sign. If the police stop you, just pay. Driver lisence In many countries you get your lisence for the rest of your life. In Thailand you get one year the first time. Later you can get 5 years. Driving here you better have a international lisence on top of your lisence from home. If you stay more than 3 months, you most have a Thai driver license. There are a lot to see. Every year you have to pay yor tax at the same place you got your Thai driver lisence. You get a tag to put on your front window. New rules Now you most wear a helmet driving a bike. The police have startet to check drinking and driving too (Sukhumvit Rd). The number 9 maybe can help you. Number 9 The king in Thailand now are the king number 9.
